UNICEF Burundi is recruiting a Technology Officer to  work under the supervision of the ICT Specialist and head of the ICT4D section. The Technology Officer is expected to identify emerging technologies and support their scale-up and adaptation, with a view to improve the implementation, management and monitoring of the UNICEF programme in Burundi.

A qualified candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Design or a directly-related technical field. A minimum of two years of relevant experience, at the national and international levels, in the use of technology for development is required in addition to prior experience in the deployment, management and utilization of technology solutions to address programs and operational needs.

Duty Station: Bujumbura, Burundi
